Quilting Pansies – Easy, Fast, and Lovely

Well folks, it’s been a while. When I started this website and blog, I had so many ideas and intentions. But…pandemic. Work got really busy and so many things seemed to take up my time, preventing me from posting and making videos. But I’m back.

Right now, I’m working on a special quilt for me. It’s a king size and although I have quilted this size quilt on my small 8 ft frame before, I decided to try it as a quilt-as-you-go this time. So I divided it into two halves.

I’m almost finished the second half and I’m going to record the process of joining the two halves and then reveal the finished product. In the meantime, a few people have asked me about a pansy shape I like to quilt, so I decided to show you in this short video.

Whether you are using a domestic sewing machine or a longarm, the technique is the same. It’s easy, fast, and it looks fabulous.
