Enjoying the Season

I seem to be writing posts that say “Sorry I’ve been so quiet” or something like that over the past several months. It’s not that I’ve been too busy – I’ve been distracted. Between my work, which is going very well, my new granddaughter (who turned 3 months old last week), and many projects, I’ve put the blog on the back burner. But now I’m going to try to make it a priority for a while.

Today’s post is a really fun one.

At the beginning of the year, I signed up for a Christmas box from Water Girl Quilt Co., an online quilt store in Canada. I’ve ordered from there several times and have always been happy with their service. The orders come fast and the prices are very reasonable. When I saw a post in the spring about their upcoming Christmas box, I signed up. Why not treat myself with some gifts, right? I paid – and then I forgot all about it. Until I received a box in the mail last week.

So now, I have 24 gifts for an advent calendar of sorts, and an extra gift for Christmas Day. How cool is that? Here is a video I made for today, December 1. I’ll be making a short video every day to show people the gift of the day, right up to Christmas. Maybe you’ll sign up next year!
