Over the next few weeks, I’ll be making videos as I create a one-of-a-kind wedding gift. I was commissioned to make a king size quilt and the fabric the client wanted is a gorgeous succulent pattern.
A few years ago, I took part in a guild challenge. To mark the 10th year in existence, Loose Threads, my guild, issued this challenge: Quilt anything that represents the number 10. The only rule was it had to be 10”x10”, but no other instructions were given.
I have always enjoyed making things. Over the years, I did just about every craft I came across. I was an accomplished knitter and I made some lovely things. I learned cake decorating. I did more counted cross stitch pieces than I can remember.
