A few years ago, I watched several videos with Cindy Needham. She is a quilter and teacher who taught me that there was a lot you can do with a antique tablecloth. I filed this information in the back of my mind, figuring I would like to try it some time.
Earlier this month, I learned of a local organization that helps furnish rooms and apartments for people who had lived on the streets. I thought it was a great idea and while I wanted to contribute some quilts, I felt I had no time.
Back in October 2019, my husband and I travelled to the Netherlands for a vacation. We did the usual touristy things and I took him to the city of den Bosch, where my family is from. And, of course, I found a quilt shop in Amsterdam, Den Haan & Wagenmakers.
